​Mindfulness means being Present in the moment. Mindfulness can be practiced every moment of every day and infused into all of life’s activities. It means paying full attention to every moment, no matter what you are doing. You could be doing mundance daily tasks like driving, cooking, shopping, doing dishes, checking email and still be mindful by being fully present to the task. 
 
Stress causes a lot of common health problems like high blood pressure, high cholestrol, hypertension, heart issues etc. Practicing mindfulness improves both mental and physical health by reducing stress. 
 
Mindfulness involves both concentration (a form of meditation) and acceptance. Deliberately pay attention to thoughts and sensations without judgment. Meditation is the formal practice of bringing mindfulness to stillness and silence. When practiced regularly, meditation can strengthen the capacity to stay mindful even when life gets stressful.  Regular practice of meditation deepens the capacity to be more present to everyday life.
 
Mindfulness helps us connect with our bodies and emotions. As the clutter of our mind reduces, we begin to observe our bodies and how our emotions, thoughts and happenings in life affect us. 

I am a mindfulness coach but most of all I help people stay present and get connected with themselves. I am the founder of beHealthyMindfully.com through which I coach people to attain optimum health, reduce stress, eat mindfully, loose weight and much more. Since we are all different beings, I work with individuals to help build an action plan that works for them. This plan could include yoga, meditation, journaling, swimming, drinking tea or any other activities that resonate with you and that give you bliss and pleasure. My mission is to help you connect with the bliss within you so you can be at your most optimum health.
